Picture sharing has been a fixture on the Internet since its inception. A picture sharing component such as a gallery or photo tour is integrated into many sites and many people use personal websites solely for sharing pictures between family.

Picture sharing has been around long enough that the software options for doing so are numerous. We support almost every picture sharing package out there, but by far the most used systems are:

You can also share pictures using blogging software. Catherine Jamieson wrote a great book about photo blogging based on Movable Type. She is active in the photo blog community and publishes a great site regarding photography and other creative subjects.
